These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of saltmedia.online ("we," "our," "us") by content creators ("you," "your"). By uploading content to our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Account Registration and Security

To upload content, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Content Ownership and License

Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you upload to the platform.

License to Us: By uploading content, you grant saltmedia.online a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, distribute, and promote your content across our platform and affiliated services.

3. Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes on any intellectual property rights (e.g., copyrights, trademarks).
  • Contains illegal, harmful, or offensive material.
  • Violates our community guidelines (e.g., harassment, explicit content, spam).

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with these guidelines.

4. Monetization and Payments

  • Payments will be made according to your selected payment method and are subject to any processing fees.
  • Payments will be made monthly to the selected payment method you agreed upon.
  • You are responsible for any taxes associated with your earnings.

5. Prohibited Actions

You agree not to:

  • Engage in fraudulent activities, such as misrepresenting your content or manipulating views.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful files.
  • Use the platform to solicit other users or promote third-party services without consent.

6. Revenue Distribution

That either party ceases to produce digital work or distribute digital work within a period agreed, these terms shall terminate immediately unless distribution is available per schedule attached herein. The party which terminates shall be liable for the consequences. Content creators will receive 52.4% of subscriber payable amounts, and the remaining percentage will cover withholding tax, VAT, payment processing costs, and the site commission.

7. Termination and Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited actions. You may also request to deactivate or delete your account at any time by contacting us.

  • If your account is terminated, your content may be removed from the platform.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold saltmedia.online harmless from any legal claims, damages, losses, or liabilities that arise from your content or actions on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

saltmedia.online is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform or any content uploaded.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal means. If that fails, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration, under the laws of Tanzania.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes via email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after such modifications will be deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.
